Kaz. K. / Born in Japan, she was a convention organiser for 10 years. During the period, she had many opportunities to experience other cultures and practices in places where her work took her - including Spain, the Netherlands, England, Italy and the USA. Her experiences made it clear to her - Japanese culture is Unique. Arriving in Australia in 2001, lived and raised her daughter in Sydney, Lismore and here Brisbane. In 2004, she began making handmade bags from recycled kimono material. The concept of her work is "Upcycling kimono". Please enjoy the vintage kimono world!
